After your treatment

After you’ve completed your initial round of treatment, it’s important that you carefully monitor yourself for returning symptoms.  It’s also helpful to get the opinions of those closest to you, friends or family members, who may notice the subtle changes that could be returning symptoms before you do.

Like everyone else, you’ll feel down or have a bad day or two every now and then but if those bad days linger, it might be time to come in for further treatments so you can get your mental health back on track.  If you feel like you’re relapsing, speak with your psychotherapist or your physician about further treatments to help maintain your mental health.
